Directors’ Foreword Our entry this year marks the fourth year that we been involved with the Shine Schools Media Awards. Our student body this year is made up of young people from all over the world; from Nepal to Nigeria. As diverse a group of students as we have, when it came to choosing a central theme for this year’s magazine entry, majority feedback was that it should be about the Environment, showing that our young people are concerned about the planet and their environment and how to care for it. In a departure from our previous entries, and evidence that how our students’ skill set has improved over the years, it was also agreed that we should submit a digital copy in addition to our paper copy. Within the pages of this magazine, which has been aptly entitled, “Making the Right Choices about our Environment” by the Editorial Team, you will find articles on everything about our environment from Renewable Energy and River Pollution to Recycling. Once again, Ursula and I are very proud of the dedication of our students in putting this magazine together and also of the quality of the articles that were presented therein. Happy Reading!

I applied black bias binding around the hem of each sleeve to finish off the arm hole and make it neat. I stitched the binding with the ...
  • Pollution:

  • I think on reasons why it has been polluted is because of people dumping rubbish into the river. Also there are many factory’s been built near the rivers so all the waste from the factory is going straight into the rivers, not only that there are animals that live in the river so that means that the animals are getting a ...
